Anita L. Oswald, 93

Anita L. Oswald (nee Kletzine), 93, of West Bend, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at Cedar Community.

Anita was born in the town of Erin on May 14, 1918 to Alfred and Hilda (nee Nehrbass) Kletzine. She married Wilfred Ruffing on Sept. 14, 1940 in Allenton. Wilfred passed away on June 16, 1963. She worked for West Bend Company and after retirement, married George Oswald on May 22, 1965. She enjoyed staying home with her family and spending time with them and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini.

Anita is survived by her daughter, Judith (Gerald) Zingsheim of Minoqua. She is further survived by her granddaughter, Julie (Matthew) Sadler of O’Fallon, Ill.; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Roxanne Sadler; sister, Violet Schroeder; sisters-in-law, Laura Oswald and Lillian Kletzine; and brother-in-law, Leroy Ruffing. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Wilfred and George; brothers, Orrin and Wilbert; sister, Lorraine Ruffing; and brothers-in-law, Erwin, Jerome, and Leonard Ruffing and Lawrence Schroeder.

A memorial Mass for Anita will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at St. Frances Cabrini Church with Father Nathan Reesman presiding.

Interment of cremains will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Allenton. Visitation will be at the CHURCH ONLY on Friday, Feb. 17 from 2 p.m. until time of Mass (3 p.m.). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Frances Cabrini Parish or Cedar Community.
