Gerald M. Struck, 76


Gerald M. "Jerry" Struck, 76, of Fredonia and Hudson, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, in Hudson, Fla.

He was born on March 5, 1935, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Harold and Verona (Mehrens) Struck, and on Sept. 3, 1955, he was united in marriage to Dorothy L. Bailey at Wesley Methodist Church in Milwaukee.

Jerry was a member of the House of Prayer Church in Kewaskum. He will fondly be remembered for his love of going to garage sales, flea markets and listening to the music there and deer hunting. He will be deeply missed by his wife, his family and by all who knew him.

Those Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy; two children, Ronald (Laurie) Struck and Susan (David) Struck both of Kewaskum; three brothers, Richard Struck of Milwaukee, Larry (Ursula) Struck of Florida and Karl Struck of Grafton; two sisters, Lucille McDaniel of Grafton and Darlene (Thomas) Crawford of Missouri; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives; and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Robert Struck; a sister-in-law, Judy Struck; and a brother-inlaw, Gilbert McDaniel.

Funeral services for Jerry will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at the House of Prayer Church in Kewaskum. Pastor Joe Brath will officiate and burial will follow in Waubeka Union Cemetery in the town of Fredonia.

Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kidney Foundation are appreciated.
