Anita Ella Hoffmann

Anita Ella Hoffmann, (nee Hilty) of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully 
at Cedar Gardens on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at the age of 93.  Anita 
was born in Mequon on Oct. 28, 1918, the daughter of the late Oscar 
and Pauline (nee Hauke) Hilty.  Anita was united in marriage to the 
late Roman Hoffmann on May 3, 1941 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in 
Cedarburg. Anita was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. 
Anita’s favorite hobbies were bowling, playing cards, knitting and 
lottery scratch-offs. Anita also enjoyed watching the Green Bay 
Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Anita and Roman together owned and 
operated Louis C. Hoffmann & Son Construction Co.

Anita is survived by her children: David Sr. (Sandra) Hoffmann, 
William (Maureen) Hoffmann, Michael (Vernita) Hoffmann and Nancy 
Hoffmann; grandchildren: David Hoffmann Jr., Daniel (Carol) Hoffmann, 
Denise (Joe) Laszkiewicz, Bethany (Jon) Becker, William Hoffmann, 
Laura Hoffmann, DeAnne Hoffmann, Stacie (Aaron) Wurster, Shaun 
Schuetz, Amanda Schuetz and Nathan Schuetz.  Further survived by 19 
great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, other relatives 
and friends.

Funeral services for Anita will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 
4:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg with visitation at 
the church on Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Interment will be at 
Immanuel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of
