Beatrice E. "Bea" Schmidt Beatrice E. "Bea" Schmidt (nee Wagner) of Grafton passed away  peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at Aurora Medical Center Grafton  at the age of 82.  Bea was born in Milwaukee, WI on Jan. 28, 1930 the  daughter of the late Andrew and Esther (nee Borchert) Wagner.  Bea  was united in marriage to Ramon "Bud" Schmidt on July 28, 1951 at  Memorial Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.  Bea was a foster mother for  98 young children spanning over 20 years.  Bea also worked at Lauer’s  True Value in Grafton for many years.  Bea enjoyed crocheting,  sewing, gardening and especially baking.  For over 20 years, the  family did not have to buy a loaf of bread.  Bea also volunteered at  St. Paul Lutheran School in Grafton and St. John Lutheran School in  Random Lake. Bea is survived by her husband Ramon "Bud" Schmidt of Grafton;  children: David (Doris) Schmidt of Grafton, Daniel (Donna) Schmidt of  Flippin, AR and Diane (Andy) Schumann of Fredonia; Loving Nana of  Jennifer (Marcus) Walser, Jason Schmidt, Erin Schmidt, Melissa  Schumann, Katherine Schmidt, Tim Schumann, Michelle Schumann and  Robert Schumann; Loving great Nana Bea of Madeline Schmidt and Maylin  Walser; Brother:  Eugene (Dejon) Wagner; nieces, nephews, other  relatives and friends.  Bea was preceded in death by a grandson  Matthew Schumann and a brother Matthew Fredrich. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at 4 p.m. at St.  Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton.  Visitation were held at the church  Sunday from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.  Interment will be at St. Paul  Lutheran Cemetery, Grafton.
