Bernadine E. Avdek passed away on Feb. 23, 2012, in Cedarburg, at the 
age of 91 years.  Private Services were held.  Please visit

Bernadine was born on May 31, 1920, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, the 
daughter of the late William Berg and the late Bernadina (nee 
Dahlgren) Berg.  She later married the late Joseph August Avdek on 
Sept. 11, 1943, in Muskegon, Michigan. Their marriage was blessed 
with four children.

Bernadine is survived by her children: Karl (Kim) Avdek, Joe (Debbie) 
Avdek, Kurt Avdek and Sara (Bruce) Nordgren, brother-in-law, Albert 
Avdek, and special friends, Martha Watts and Helen Meyers.  She is 
further survived 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, 
nephews, other relatives and friends.  Bernadine was preceded in 
death by her husband Joseph, as well as one sister and two brothers.
