Dorothy A. Wiedmeyer, 95

Dorothy A. Wiedmeyer (nee Weber), 95, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at Ivy Manor of West Bend. She was born in Chicago on Dec. 27, 1916, to the late John C. and Mildred (nee Lafin) Weber. She married John J. Wiedmeyer on June 13, 1936. Dorothy’s work history includes Carroll House, Campbell Stores, and the West Bend Company. She retired on Dec. 31, 1981.

She is survived by her daughters, Janet (Gary) Kuhnen and Judith Zallaps; daughter-in-law, Joan Wiedmeyer; grandchildren, Debra Wiedmeyer, Diane (Gay) Fieweger, Lisa (Todd) Tennies, Ann (Bruce) Press, Jeanne (Steven) Vogel, Kristine (Trey) Reeves, Jeff (Judi) Zallaps, Greg Zallaps, and Lori (Ben) Juergens; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Aly, and Aaron Tennies; Jessica and Paul (P.J.) Fieweger; Allison and Lindsay Neitzel; Madison and Aaron (A.J.) Press; Sarah and Laura Vogel; Tyler and Beth Reeves; Jackson and Sophia Zallaps; beloved sister, Barbara Stoffel; brother-in-law, Edward Wiedmeyer; sisters in-law, Shirley, Joyce, Helen, and Jean Wiedmeyer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John; son, James; son-in-law, Jack Zallaps; sisters, Bernice (Franklin) Scharrer and Eleanore Weber; brothersin-law and sisters-in-law, Paul, Raymond, Henry (Marcella), Ambrose, Thomas, and Joseph Wiedmeyer, and Eleanore (Carl) Jaroch.

At Dorothy’s request, a private service was held for the family.
