Agnes Schultz, 91|
Agnes Schultz, 91, of West Bend and formerly of the Wisconsin Dells area passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 30, 2011 at Jackson Crossings Assisted Living Center.
A memorial service honoring Agnesís life will take place at the Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton at a date yet to be determined.
Agnes was born in Kalamazoo, Mich. on Oct. 12, 1920 and her family settled in Chicago. Following her graduation from high school she attended County Normal Teaching College in Wisconsin. Agnes loved teaching and was able to follow this dream for many years. During her first teaching position, Agnes met Harold Schultz and they were married in 1945. They settled in the Wisconsin Dells area where they lived for many years. During this time they raised four children and Agnes returned to substitute teaching in Lake Delton. In 1989, Harold passed away and Agnes left the farm where they had lived for most of their married life. Agnes continued to live in the Wisconsin Dells area until she moved to West Bend. For the past three years, Agnes had resided at the Jackson Crossings Assisted Living Center.
Agnes was the heart of her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She is remembered for her wonderful chocolate chip cookies, amazing brownies, and her warm smile. She had a positive impact on everyone who knew her and she touched many lives in her 91 years on this earth.
Agnes is survived by a daughter, Ann (Doug Jurgilanis) and a son, Mike (Judy) both of West Bend, WI, a daughter, Jane Fazio (Mark) of Waunakee and a son, Bob (Joy) of Little Rock, Ark. She was so proud of her grandchildren, Sarah Fazendin (Eric), Stephanie Kennelly (Kory), Michael Fazio (Emily) and Jonny Schultz. And she loved her greatchildren, Jossilyn and Luca Fazendin and Baby Kennelly who will be joining our family very soon. She is further survived by a brother-in-law, Ken Schultz (Doris) of Wisconsin Dells and many nieces and nephews that meant so much to her.
