Edgar W. Krause, Jr., 65
Edgar W. Krause, Jr., 65, of Richfield, passed
away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee
Falls.
He was born on June 22, 1946 in Milwaukee to Edgar
and Shirley (nee Graff) Krause. He graduated from West Bend High School in
1964 and then served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He began working as a
truck driver for Klein Cartage in Milwaukee. Then he worked as an
independent truck driver for many years and he also drove for Wisconsin
Protein Carriers. He was an avid sheepshead player and he also enjoyed
playing cribbage.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Wren of
Milwaukee; four children, Eddie (Tanya) Krause of West Bend, Daniel
(Tammy) Krause of West Bend, Tony (Mary) Krause of Campbellsport, and
Sally (Chuck) May of Beaver Dam; six grandchildren, Morgan, Chelsea,
Ashley, Anthony, Thomas, and Isabella; two brothers, Gerald (Kathi) Krause
of Muskego and Charlie (Diane) Krause of Hartland; a sister, Joanne (Al)
Sunn of Milwaukee, a special friend, Dean Rettig of Theresa; other
relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar
Krause, Sr. and a brother, Fred Krause.
A funeral service in remembrance of Edgar will be
held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home,
1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home
on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Burial with military
honors will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park,
West Bend.
