Margaret A. "Peggy" Yauck, nee
Davis, 47, of West Bend died on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012 at Froedtert
Health St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk. She was born on Sept.
22, 1964 in Ripon to Thomas and Audrey (nee Putzer) Davis.
Following her marriage to Timothy Yauck on April 9, 1994 in Ripon, the
couple lived in Brown Deer. They later moved to Memphis, Tenn., returning
to Wisconsin in 2004, settling in West Bend.
Peggy worked as a teachers aide at Decorah Elementary School. For the past
five years, she has courageously fought ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s
Disease.
She was a member of Holy Angels Parish.
Survivors include her husband Tim; their two children Ryan and Emily; her
mother Audrey Davis; brothers and sisters Tom (Debbie) Davis, Bill (Kathy)
Davis, Mary (Bob) Jackson, Jane (Scott) Henricks, Cindy (Mike) Strey,
Carol (Mike) Ehrenberg, Judy (Mike) Gysbers, Connie (Matt) Carney and Andy
(Amy) Davis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was
preceded in death by her father Thomas.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 1 p.m. at the
Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30
p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the parish
cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends during a period of
visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of
the service at 1 p.m.
The family has requested memorials for the benefit of her childrens
education.
