John F. Barry, 77 John F. Barry, 77, of Cedarburg, died peacefully surrounded by his wife and daughters on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. He was born in Chicago on June 17, 1934, the son of William and Anne Kelly Barry, who preceded him in death. He served in the U.S. Army and graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. On Feb. 15, 1958, he married Helen Patricia Guinane in Chicago. John was a longtime employee of Miller Brewing Co., retiring in 1992. Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Ellen M. (George) Sokol of Naperville, Ill., Jeanne A. (John) Kennedy of Franklin, Mary Pat Barry of Santa Barbara, Calif., Nancy L. (Tom) Anderson of Pleasant Hill, Calif., Kathleen M. (Tom) Asher of Mt. Pleasant and Jennifer Clare (Jay) Treichel of Waukesha; 13 grandchildren, Maura, Peter, Dylan, Elizabeth, Trevor, Brian, Marie, Kate, Henry, Julie, Thomas, Caroline, and Meredith; three brothers, William (Patsy) Barry of Chicago, James (Cathy) Barry of Frankfort, Ill., and Patrick (Diane) Barry of Wilmington, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.| A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. Visitation at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg, today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
