George E. Gutjahr, 54, passed away
unexpectedly in Land O Lakes.
George was born on Aug. 27, 1957 in Port Washington. He was employed at
the Slinger Creamery, Slinger Manufacturing for many years and later for
Forslunds Lumber Co. in Land O Lakes. George enjoyed ATVing, boating,
water skiing, motorcycling, fishing, snowmobiling, restoring tractors,
woodworking, loved the outdoors, hunting and bald eagles, spending time
with his family, friends and especially loved his daughters.
George is survived by his wife Cindee (nee Dunow), children Kayla of
Slinger, Alyssa of Hartford and Stephanie of Land O Lakes. He is further
survived by his loving mother Nancy Wahnschaffe, birth parents Shirley
Herman and Roger Gutjahr, siblings Roger Jr. (Kathy), Jeff (Debbie), Gail,
Tracy (fiancé Pete), extended siblings Billy, Billy Jo, Tommy, Brian,
foster siblings Sarah (John Cooke) Coatts, Nadene (Michael) Seymour,
ex-wives Priscilla Schacht and Robin Gutjahr, nieces, nephews, other
relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his former fiancée Kay
Clark, loving father John Wahnschaffe, brother Robin, grandparents Elmer
and Sally Gutjahr and Marion Topel, and foster brother Thomas Brigman.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. at
the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with Rev. Amy Anderson
presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 21
from noon until time of service (3 p.m.). Memorials are appreciated to
Glacier Hills Credit Union for the George Gutjahr Memorial Fund.
