Michael L. Weaver, 74 Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church,W67N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg, at 1 p.m. for Michael L. Weaver of Oxford, formerly of Cedarburg, who died on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at the age of 74 from natural causes at University Hospital in Madison. Visitation will be held at church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Interment will follow at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg. Michael was born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 1, 1937, the son of Harold and Olga (nee Berg) Weaver. He graduated from Nekoosa High School in 1955 and entered the Air Force immediately following. After his dedicated service in the Air Force, Michael went to Northrup Institute of Technology in Engelwood, Calif., where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He married Sally Sanger on Aug. 29, 1959, in Nekoosa and they were blessed with three children. In 1962, Michael and Sally moved to Janesville and then moved to Cedarburg in the early ’70s to continue their life. Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman. Michael and Sally enjoyed traveling the world together. He enjoyed his time on the lake, cruises on his pontoon boat and especially watching the sunrises and sunsets on his deck. Michael is survived by his children, Sarah (Ray) Pecor, Dr. Laura (Mark) Shaw and Todd (April) Weaver; his grandchildren, Noah Pecor, Angie and Kaylyn Weaver; his sisters, MaryAnn (Russ) Dunne, Murial (Vaughn) Hoffman, Judy (the late Merton) Spice and Nancy (Ron) Krohn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Sally; and brothers, Ellis (Nancy) Weaver and Bill (the late Louise) Weaver. Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family. |
