Aurelia Bollerey, 92


Aurelia Bollerey, 92, of Hartford passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012.
She was born in the town of Hartford on May 16, 1920, the daughter of Richard and Lydia (nee Hoefs) Lohr. On Feb. 26, 1949 Aurelia was united in marriage to Emil Bollerey and they farmed in the Hartford area.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Mike) de Gyruky of Hartford and is preceded in death by her husband, Emil, on Dec. 6, 1983, her parents, sister Adeline Lohr, and infant brother.

Aurelia was always interested in drawing and painting, and in her retirement years, volunteered for six years as an “art aware person,” going to the schools under a program of the West Bend Art Gallery. She and her husband did arts and crafts shows for 25 years throughout southeastern Wisconsin; she was also a gallery exhibitor.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 3 at the First United Methodist Church in Hartford from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service will follow at church at 11 a.m. The Rev. Paul Johnson will officiate. A fellowship lunch at church will follow the funeral service. Interment Erin Emmanuel Cemetery, town of Erin. Memorials to the First United Methodist Church, Hartford, or Senior Friends, Hartford, would be appreciated.
