Cynthia A. Usher (nee Palash), 55, of Slinger died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Kathy Hospice. She was born Oct. 13, 1956 in Milwaukee to Clemens and Ruth (nee Literski) Palash and married Gregory L. Usher on Nov, 3, 1984 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
Cindy worked for Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee from 1974 until 1995. She then went back to school and earned an associate’s degree as a business assistant from WCTC. Cindy then worked for Washington County in the printing department until 2009.
She loved flowers and her pets and truly enjoyed family get-togethers.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 27 years, Greg, her son Ryan (special friend Jacqueline Gundrum) of Slinger, her father Clem Palash of Slinger and two brothers Allen (Caroline) Palash of Winfield, Ill. and Michael (Mary) Palash of Simpsonville, S.C. She is further survived by her motherin-law Shirley Usher, a brother-in-law Richard (Mary) Usher of Rubicon, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother Ruth, her brother Ronald Palash and her father-in-law Harold Usher.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Lawrence with Rev. Joseph Dominic presiding. The family will greet relatives and friends for a period of visitation at the church only from 9-10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Kathy Hospice are appreciated.
