Mary J. Konowalski, 64
 

Mary J. Konowalski (nee Kiel), 64, of Cedarburg, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012, at Horizon Hospice after an 18-month battle with cancer.

A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at 6 p.m.

at St. Francis Borgia Church (north) in Cedarburg. Family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service, with a gathering to follow.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Jim; loving daughters, Laura and Lynn; devoted grandson, Joshua; and a dear aunt, Anne "Tanta Anna" Goyette. She is further survived by many friends.

A daughter, Krystyn, preceded her in death.

Mary was an active volunteer for the Republican Party of Ozaukee County as well as the Republican Party of Wisconsin. She enjoyed the parades, fairs, picnics, various events and activities, and all of the people more than you will ever know.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to doctors Dr. Christopher Budny, primary care physician, and his staff at Cedar Mills, and Dr. "Joe" Nand, leading the oncology team at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee. Thanks to surgeon Dr. Richard Cattey, the staff in

Interventional Radiology, Audrey and Kim in occupational therapy.

And thanks to the countless others who cared for Mary during treatment and time at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary’s name to Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Campus are appreciated.
