William J. Hauser, 82|
A memorial Mass will be held today, July 12, 2012, at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Grafton for William J. Hauser, who passed away on July 8, 2012, at the age of 82. The family will receive friends today at the church, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Father Mike Barrett will officiate the memorial Mass.

William was born on Sept. 6, 1929, in Milwaukee, the son of Joseph A. Hauser and Josephine (nee Burg) Hauser. He later married Rose Marie Hauser in Milwaukee in September of 1953. Their marriage was blessed with four children. William worked as a plant manager for Frank Mayer and Associates for over 50 years.
William served his country in the United States Armed Forces from February of 1951 until February of 1953. He was a proud veteran and was a member of the Rose Harms American Legion Post 355 in Grafton.
William was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed spending much of his time at his cabin, in the north woods. He was also an avid bowler and was honored to be inducted into the Ozaukee County Bowler’s Hall of Fame.
William is survived by his children, Mark (Cheryl) Hauser, Michael (Mary Jo) Hauser, and Jane (John) Derler; and grandchildren, Steven Hauser, Matthew Hauser, Jessica Derler, Joseph Hauser, Jill Derler, Nicole Hauser, and Michael Hauser. He is further survived by two sisters, three brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
William was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rose Marie; and a son, William Hauser.
