Kenneth J. Weber, 65, of Saukville, was called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family Monday, July 16, 2012.
He was born on Oct. 20, 1946, to Carl and Margaret (nee Augustin). He attended school in Milwaukee and West Bend, graduating from MPTI in West Bend. He served in the Army during Vietnam. Ken married Kathie (nee Zimmerman) on June 24, 1967, in West Bend. He retired from General Truck, formerly known as Olson Truck Leasing. He loved camping, painting, fishing, grilling out, spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Above all, he loved the Lord.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Kathie; cherished children, Ken (Cindy) Weber, Debbie (Matt) Naumann, Becky Wenninger, Dawn (Kelly) Berndt, and Matt Weber; 17 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; siblings, Tom, Ralph, John (Jeanne), Dwight (Pat), Mike (Joann), and Kris Weber; parents-inlaw, Gerald and Carole Zimmerman; and brotherin-law, Jeff Zimmerman. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathy (Bob) Schachtschneider; brother, David Weber; sisters-in-law, Karen and Shirl Weber; grandson, Steve Berndt; and nephew, Andrew Weber.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at St. Johnís Evangelical Lutheran Church (623 Congress St., Newburg, WI 53060) at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jon Baumann presiding. The visitation will be held on Saturday, July 21 at the church from 11 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Interment will take place following the service at St. Johnís Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2323 N. Mayfair Road, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
