"Wally" Nee Menger of Cedarburg passed away peacefully on June 7, 2012 at the age of 85.

Wally attended Milwaukee’s North Division High School and was a 1947 Graduate of Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, where she served as a member of the Cadet Nurse Corp. She spent her career as a Registered Nurse at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington.

On October 2, 1948, Wally married the late Robert G. Goetter at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton, WI where they remained life-long members. Many family memories were created spending summer vacations at Little St. Germain Lake with family and friends. Wally and her husband, Bob, enjoyed traveling together throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. They divided their retirement years between their home in Cedarburg and lake home in Manitowish Waters, WI.

Wall is survived by her children: Keith (Gail) Goetter, Karen (Walt) Zautcke and Dean (Sue) Goetter and her sister Louise Schiffleger.

Wally was a very special grandma to Christopher (Paige) Zautcke, Brian (Nicole), Steve (Erin) and Lisa Goetter; proud great grandma to Caleb, Parker, Zakary, Kayleigh and Brady. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Wally was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her brother Henry Manger and Sister Doris Abraham.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 10th with interment at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Grafton. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church appreciated.
