Norman was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 20, 1929 to the late Norman and Hallie (nee Siefeldt) Wegner. Norman served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a very proud veteran. He later married Joyce V. (nee Schulz) in Milwaukee, WI on October 20, 1962.
They were blessed with a daughter, Wendy. Norman and Joyce have been members of Pilgrim United Church of Christ since 1968. Norman was a member of the Rose Harms American Legion Post #355 in Grafton, a 25 year member of the Grafton Volunteer Fire Department, 32nd degree Mason and also the Masonic order of the Eastern Star. There are many things that Norman loved to do like woodworking, gardening, his train sets and he loved fishing. He caught a musky some years ago which warranted being mounted and is very proud of that catch . Norman knew how to make peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and his recipe for cheesecake was outstanding. Norman always loved doing something, so in way we could call him a "putzer". Norman has 3 loves beyond measure, his wife, his daughter and his 2 grandsons, all of which were the light of his eyes.
Norman is survived by his wife of 49 years; Joyce, daughter; Wendy (David) Schuette, 2 grandsons Nicholas and Benjamin, siblings; Lucille (the late George) Raths, Bernice French, Maryann Wegner and the late Jim (Marie) Wegner, other relatives and friends.
