Isabelle A. "Izzy" Miller

Mrs. Isabelle Miller (nee Lennartz) of Cedarburg, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 12, 2012 at Horizon Hospice in Mequon after a long battle with cancer. She was 79 years old.

Izzy was born June 7, 1933 in Ozaukee County, the daughter of Theodore and Anna Siewertsen Lennartz.

On June 30, 1951 she was united in marriage with Gerald "Jerry" Miller at Holy Angels Church in Milwaukee. Last year, they celebrated 60 years of marriage. Izzy worked at the Red Owl in Cedarburg as a head checker and part-time bookkeeper. She was a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, reading, and traveling all over the country with her husband.

Izzy is survived by her husband Jerry and their daughter, Kathleen (Paul) Diring of New London. She is further survived by grandchildren: Nathan Link, Andrew Link and Chandra Diring, 1 great-grandchild, 3 brothers: Theodore (Michiko) Lennartz, Henry (Karen) Lennartz and Gerald Lennartz, all of Milwaukee, sister Barbara (Allan) Lukes of Jackson, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Richard.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 16 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. She will be entombed at St. Francis Borgia Columbarium in Mequon. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday morning from 10AM-12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church.

The Eernisse Funeral Home, Cedarburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
