Terry ‘Turd’ Lee Kison, 57

Terry “Turd” Lee Kison, was taken home to his Savior, June 17, 2012, at the age of 57.

Terry was born on Nov. 15, 1954, and was a lifelong Cedarburg
resident. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Lisa (Nee VandeBoom); mother, Lorain (the late Herbert) Kison; brothers, Rod (the late Char), Chuck (Donna), Dennis (Kathy), Randy (Patty), Jim (Lisa Marie), Keith (Cathy); father-in-law, Ralph VandeBoom; sisters- in-law and brothers-in-law, Mark, Gary (Betty) Lori (Mike) Paulus, Roger (Sharon); many nieces, nephews, to whom Terry was lovingly known as “Uncle Tease.”

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Herbert; (infant) brother,
Kenneth; nephew, Kevin; and sister-in-law Char Kison.

Terry was united in marriage to Lisa on Oct. 9, 1999. Terry was
employed by the Ozaukee County Highway Department for 23 years. He
also enjoyed working part-time for Liesener Soils. He joined the
Cedarburg Volunteer Fire Department in 1975 and was a member of Sons
of American Legion in Cedarburg, Post 288.

In his spare time he loved to cruise the countryside and spent
relaxing vacations in Door County with his wife, Lisa. Terry was
always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, without
question. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends he
met along the way.

Terry’s family would like to recognize the special care he received
and special people he met while undergoing out-patient treatment for
his cancer at the Aurora Cancer Care Center in Grafton.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at
David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Immanuel
Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Wednesday from 3 p.m. to
6:45 p.m.
