Marlene Gauger, 70 |
Marlene Gauger (nee Kannenberg), 70, of West Bend, was taken to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 23, 2012, after a short illness at St. Lukeís Hospital in Milwaukee.
She was born to the late Herman and Linda (Matter) Kannenberg on Feb. 5, 1942, in the town of Jackson. She married William C. Gauger on Aug. 25, 1962, at Davidís Star Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Marlene is survived by her husband William; children LeAnn (Gary) Woltersdorf and Lila (Thom) Johnson; grandchildren Nycole (Andy) Schneider, Brittany Woltersdorf, Mitchell Johnson and Tatum Johnson; brothers Wilmer (Janet) and the Rev. Delmer (Barbara) Kannenberg; brothers-in-law Charles (Judy) and David (Evie) Gauger. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Linda Kannenberg; sister Lillian Kannenberg; parents-in-laws Alvin and Pearl Gauger.
Funeral Service for Marlene will be Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church (777 S. Indiana Ave.) in West Bend. Visitation will also be on Saturday, June 30, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park following services. Memorials are appreciated to Kathy Hospice (3200 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend, Wis. 53095), American Heart Association Midwest Affiliate (Attn: Memorial/ Tribute Processing Center, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, Ill. 60674) or Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church.
