Allen Emil Brandt, 80
Allen
Emil Brandt, 80, of Cedar Creek Road in Cedarburg, passed away peacefully
surrounded by his family on the evening of March 5, 2012. Allen was born
in the town of Jackson on June 7, 1931 the son of the late Herbert and
Eleanor (nee Kuells) Brandt. Allen was united in marriage to Hildegarde
"Hildie" (nee Schwendimann) on April 12, 1958 in Slinger. Allen
was a dairy farmer throughout his life. Allen had a strong Christian faith
and enjoyed traveling, photography, reading, dancing, playing cards with
the card club for over 35 years, and especially spending time with his
children and grandchildren.
Allen is survived by his wife Hildie of nearly 54 years; children: David
(Joan) Brandt, Jean (Ed) Kelley, Patty (Randy) Kison and Steve (Heather)
Brandt; grandchildren: Laura (Jason) LaRosh, Connie (fiancé Adam
Synoground) Brandt, Tim (friend Kallie) Brandt, Phil (friend Stephanie)
Brandt, Eric Brandt, Mike Kelley, Pat Kelley, Kathy Jo (Chad) Dillingham,
Brian (fiancée Cailyn Wilke) Kison, Jared Kison, Austin Kison, Samantha
Brandt and Nicole Brandt; great-grandchildren: Aleena and Sienna LaRosh
and Porter and Sierra Dillingham; siblings: Wilmer (Joanne) Brandt,
Lorraine (Russell) Pluedeman and Ronald (Marian) Brandt; and sister-in-law
Anna Schwendimann. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1 p.m. at
David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church, Jackson. Interment Church Cemetery.
Instate at the church Saturday, 10 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
