Crescentia E. Lieven (Hauser), 90, lifelong resident of Hartford, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at her residence.
Crescentia was born Jan. 15, 1922 in Hartford to Martin and Barbara (Kiefer) Hauser. She was united in marriage to Robert H. Lieven on Jan. 13, 1945 at St. Kilian Catholic Church, Hartford.
Crescentia was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered. Crescentia was a 65-year charter member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8834 and a member of St. Kilian Church.
She is survived by her sons Richard (Susan) Lieven of Kewaskum, Gerald Lieven of Mayville, and Robert (Mary Anne) Lieven of Mequon; nine grandchildren Melissa (Jim) Anderson, Matthew (Malina) Lieven, Eric (Michelle) Lieven, Kacie, Kaitlin, Abigail, Zachary, Benjamin, and Sara Lieven; three great-grandchildren Grayson and Benson Anderson, and Mason Lieven; sister Jean Hauser; and her sister-in-law Betty Lieven. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Crescentia was preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents, sisters Lucille Stehlik, Marcella Dhondt, Frances Engelhardt, Bernadette Hauser and her brother Martin Hauser, Jr.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church, with Fr. David LaPlante officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 9:30 until the time of service.
