Ralph L. Stoffel, 78

Ralph L. Stoffel of Cedarburg passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 
March 7, 2012, at the age of 78.

He was born on May 31, 1933, in Allenton, the son of Roman and Marie 
Stoffel. He served with the U.S. Army in France from 1953 to 1955. He 
married the former Donna Hofmaier on May 28, 1960. He spent most of 
his career in sales, including owning and operating Pewter Limited in 
Mayfair Mall, from 1982 to 1997.

He was an active member and Eucharistic minister at St. Francis 
Borgia Catholic Church, and a former member of St. Vincent de Paul.
He was passionate about his many volunteer activities, especially 
providing a variety of services to the seniors in the local area. 
Some have described Ralph as their "angel."

He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, 
teaching them all how to play cards. He also enjoyed traveling, golf, 
bowling, gardening, and of course the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay 
Packers.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna; his children, Lois 
(David) Danner, Gregg (Sandy) and Maria (Greg) Lindsley; seven 
grandchildren, Alec and Kevin Danner, Melissa, Katie and Bryan 
Stoffel, and Sammy and Brett Lindsley; a sister, LaVerne Horst; and 
brothers, Robert, Mathias and Roman Stoffel.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl, in 1982.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, March 12, 2012, at St. 
Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Interment will be at Zur Ruhe 
Cemetery in Cedarburg.
