Viola
P. Troeller, 104, of Wellington Place in Hartford, passed away Wednesday,
March 14, 2012 at the age of 104 years. She was born Jan. 7, 1908 in

When she was a child, her family moved from Milwaukee to Jackson where her

her husband, Walter. They were married in 1936 in Jackson and moved to
Walter’s family farm in the township of Hartford. She was a charter
choir member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, and a long-time member.
Together they farmed for 33 years; however, she stayed at the family farm
home until 2004.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter, her sisters Gladys Arnold,
Leoneze Rheingans and Verdie Lenz, and her brother Ardell Tesch.
Viola is survived by her children Carolyn Louise (Edward) Grudzinski of
Hartford, Myrna (Ozzie) Cikanek of Hartford, Thomas W. (Judy) Troeller of
West Bend and Jeanine (Floyd) Gable of Hartford, 11 grandchildren, 16
great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Lutheran Church, Huilsburg. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at
