Laura Anna Lemke, 94 A funeral service will be held today, March 20, 2012, at 1 p.m. at  First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg for Laura Anna Lemke.  A  visitation will be held, at the church, from noon until 1 p.m. The  Rev. Randolph Raasch will officiate the service. Interment will take  place at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg. Laura passed away at the Lasata Crossings, in Cedarburg, on March 17,  2012, at the age of 94. Memorials to First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg are  appreciated. Laura was born on Dec. 7, 1917, in Freistadt, the daughter of Emil  Schoessow and Elsie (nee Ramthun) Schoessow.  She later married  Franklin Lemke on June 22, 1940, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in  Freistadt. Their marriage was blessed with one son. Laura enjoyed playing cards, especially sheepshead, loved to bake and  bowled for many years.  She was very active in the Cedarburg Ladies  Auxiliary and worked many fish fries at the Legion.  Laura was a  longtime member at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Franklin Lemke  Sr.; her son, Franklin Lemke Jr; and sister, Esther Hoehn. She is survived by other relatives and friends.
