Verna M. Kulczyski, 90 Verna M. Kulczyski (nee McDaniel), 90, of Grafton, passed away peacefully at Harrison Home of Cedarburg, on March 18, 2012. Verna was born in Carter on Dec. 19, 1921, the daughter of Frank and Rose McDaniel. Verna spent most of her life living in Carter, where she enjoyed gardening, making homemade jam, snowmobiling with the Carter Brush Monkeys and playing bingo. Verna also enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren during the summer. Verna moved to Grafton in 2001 after the passing of her husband. Verna is survived by a son, Stanley (Marlene) Kulczyski Jr. of Grafton; grandchildren, Pam (Russ) Dobberpuhl of Jackson, Carol (Brian) Anderson of Grafton, Bonnie (fiancé Glenn Baumann) Keller of Fredonia, Kurt Kulczyski of Grafton and Kari Kulczyski of Grafton; great-grandchildren, Joey (Christine) Wallock, Jenny (fiance Matthew Zarling) Dobberpuhl, Stephanie (fiance Christopher Revello) Dobberpuhl, Natasha (David) Irish, Nathan Anderson, Jacob and Joshua Keller; great-great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ethan and Makayla Wallock and Sophia Irish; son-in-law, Harvey Proefrock; grandson-in-law, Joe Wallock; best friend, Dolly Niesen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Verna was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Loretta Proefrock; son, James Kulczyski; and granddaughter, Patty Wallock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. Interment will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ozaukee Family Services, 885 Badger Circle, Grafton, WI 53024, are appreciated.
