Bernie most loved when she was with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren.
She enjoyed sewing and made many beautiful quilts. She enjoyed her quilting friends at church on Thursdays. She also enjoyed doing ceramics with her friends on Tuesday nights.
Her dog Colie will miss her dearly.
She served her community by volunteering for many years at the Washington County Mental Health Center and the Samaritan.
Our family would like to extend a thank you to the Rev. Matt Short of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Dr. Gill and his staff, the Cedar Lake Community Home Care. As well as to the staff at Kathy Hospice.
A family service was held with burial at Washington County Memorial Park. The Phillip Funeral Home assisted the family.
It is appreciated that any charitable donation be made at the choice of the donor in Bernieís memory.
