Elizabeth "Liz" Biever, 88, of Saukville, died early Monday morning, April 30, 2012, at Lasata Crossings in Cedarburg.
She was born Jan. 7, 1924, in Saukville, the daughter of Raymond and Hattie Theilen Rausch. She attended grade school at Immaculate Conception School in Saukville. On March 2, 1946, she married Robert Clark at Immaculate Conception Church in Saukville. He preceded her in death in 1983. On April 13, 2002, she married Orville Biever at Holy Trinity Church in Newburg.
Mrs. Biever was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and enjoyed gardening, reading, card playing and entertaining family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Orville; four children, Dennis (Kathy) Clark of Palmdale, Calif., Diane (Mark) Howerton of Story City, Iowa, Colleen (Michael) Chapa of Ames, Iowa, and Steven (Lydia) Clark of Niles, Ill.; her stepson, Ron (Marissa) Biever of Wareham, Mass.; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; her brother, Albert (Margie) Rausch of Saukville; three sisters, Stella Lauters of Pickeral, Dolores Freitag of Grafton and Margaret (Richard) Schreiner of Cedarburg; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Newburg, with Father Kevin Kowalske officiating. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Newburg. Visitation will be at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
