Christine A. Wahnschaffe (nee Kaczmarek), 60, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. She was born on Dec. 17, 1951, in Milwaukee to Anthony and Regina (nee Michaelowski) Kaczmarek.
Christine was incredibly selfless and loving. She was always willing to lend a hand or offer comedic value. She absolutely adored her children and grandchildren and revolved her life around her family.
Christine is survived by her children Annette Wahnschaffe, Tamie (Jacinto) Verdin, Jennifer (John) Schauble, John Ellis, Steve Ellis, and Christopher Bednar; and grandchildren Daemon Randall, Adrianna, Alejandro, Valentina, and Santos Verdin, Briana and Gavin Schauble, and Amber, Miranda, and Johnny Ellis. She is further survived by her mother-in-law Nancy Wahnschaffe; siblings David Kaczmarek, Kenneth Kaczmarek, Nancy (LeRoy) Mims, and Anthony (Barb) Kaczmarek; sisters-in-law Kate Michaelowski, Carol (Alan) Marx, Bonnie (John) Barnhouse, Sharon (Charles) Nailen, and Nadene (Mike) Seymour, and Tracy Gutjahr; brother-inlaw Fred Stadler; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends especially Jacqueline Gordon, Kathy Arnold, and Brian and Marge Randall.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Regina, fatherin-law John Wahnschaffe; brother Dennis Michaelowski, sister Kathy Stadler, and brother-in-law George Gutjahr.
A funeral service for Christine will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive in West Bend, with Rev. David Schoob presiding. Visitation will be from 4-6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the funeral home only. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
