Woodrow Miller, 69

Woodrow Creveling Miller, 69, of Phoenix, passed away Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in Phoenix.

Woody was born in Lawrence, Kan., on Feb. 15, 1943. He moved with his family to Neenah in 1960.

He graduated from Neenah High School in 1961 and then went into the Army where he became a crew chief on a UH-1 helicopter. He then attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where he earned a degree in accounting. He worked at Jewelers Mutual in Neenah Wisconsin until 1983 at which point he and his family moved to West Bend and he began working as an accountant at West Bend Mutual. In 1996 he retired from accounting and worked at Menards in West Bend. Woody was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Neenah and West Bend.

Proceeding him in death were his parents, Woodrow and Louise Miller, and his daughter, Heather Miller. Survivors include his wife Cynthia Miller, Phoenix; son Christopher Miller, Madison; step-daughter Danielle Pantzlaff (Andrew), Greenleaf; granddaughters Isabel Miller, Madison, and Olive Pantzlaff, Greenleaf; sister Hilda (John) Poort, Rockwall, Texas.

Service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9.
