Wayne E. Jaeger, 64, of North Fond du Lac passed away Thursday Nov. 8, 2012, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.

He was born in Milwaukee on Sept. 17, 1948, the son of Alfred and Lillian Harvey Jaeger. He attended Rufus King High School in Milwaukee. On Oct. 8, 1966, Wayne married Linda Jean Buss. They lived in West Bend from 1971 until 1999 raising their family. They moved to the Fond du Lac area in 1999.

Wayne was a machinist at Mercury Marine for 47 years, retiring June 1, 2012. Wayne loved serving God, his family, and was an avid deer hunter (both bow and gun) and fishing. He was a member of the Cornerstone UPCI.

Survivors include his wife Linda, one son Steven of Green Bay, and two daughters: Christine (Dan) Labonte of Loves Park, Ill., and Laurie (Michael) Osypowski of Fond du Lac, eight grandchildren: Aaron and Andrew Labonte, Ashley, Abigail and Amber Osypowski, and Brooke, Rochelle, and Jourdyn Jaeger. He is further survived by one sister Carol (Gary) Blankenheim of Milwaukee and two brothers: Harvey (Ann) Jaeger of West Bend and Mark Jaeger of Milwaukee, and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Cornerstone Worship Center at 154 W. Mc Williams St., Fond du Lac. Friends may call on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 5-8 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home at 305 Fond du Lac Ave., Fond du Lac and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service.
