Gerline J. Lubbert, 83, of Rubicon, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at the Hartford Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. Gerry was born Nov. 3, 1929, to Frank and Ella (nee Schwersenske) Pfalz in Sheboygan. She was united in marriage to Melvin Lubbert on Oct. 27, 1956, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.

Gerry was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting, bead work, word searches, playing bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Gerry is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Melvin; her children Sharon (Douglas) Hext of Rubicon, Larry (Marcia) Lubbert of Hartford, Cindy (Wayne) Sletten of Hustisford, Diane (Tom) Clarenbach of Hartford, Todd (Anne) Lubbert of Hartford, and Kimberly (Doug) Littmann of Hartland; cherished grandchildren, Shannon, Otis, Abigail, Amanda, Julie, Joshua, Wayne Jr., Jenna, and Evan; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Irene Fleischman and Jeanette (Harry) Thom; and her inlaws Lucille Lubbert and Ray (Shirley) Lubbert. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gerry is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Ella Pfalz, sons Dennis and David, granddaughter Megan Hext, brothers Melvin, George and Duwayne Pfalz, her sister Lena Sellinger, and her in-laws Otto and Julia Lubbert, and Les, Roy and Alice Lubbert. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1001 Center St., Hartford from 9 a.m.-noon. Funeral Services will follow at noon with the Rev. Jeremy Husby officiating.

Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
