Carol E. Wolf,
E. Wolf (nee Kirsch), age 73, of Hartford, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18,
2012, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, after a long and courageous
battle with cancer. Carol was born June 9, 1939, to Clement and Edna
(nee Schultz) Kirsch in Hartford. She was united in marriage to Werner
Wolf on June 14, 1958, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
Carol was a loving wife and devoted mother. She enjoyed watching and
feeding the birds, gardening, fishing, bowling, crafting, gambling,
doing crossword puzzles, and reading. She especially loved spending time
with her family. Her kids and grandkids were her life.
Carol is survived by her husband Werner of 54 years; children Perry
(Debbie) Wolf, Karen (Jim) Klink, Bill (Diane) Wolf all of Hartford,
Kathy (Jim) Gullickson of West Bend, Kris (Bill) Schoenecker of
Hartford, and Kelly (Donnie) Kocan of Allenton; 12 grandchildren Dan and
Jamie Wolf, Marcus, Leah, and Shannon Klink, Brandon (Taryn), and Ally
Wolf, Nolan Gullickson, Caden and Brody Schoenecker, Emma Kocan, and
soon to be born Max Kocan; siblings Donald (Sue) Kirsch and Grace (Dick)
Heesen; her sisters and brothers-in law Carolyn Kirsch, Betty Doll,
Rosie Wolf, Lucille (Gerald) Lofy, Florence (Tom) Schellinger, Marcel
Wolf, Jerome (Donna) Wolf, and Arlene Wolf. She is further survived by
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Clement and Edna Kirsch,
brother Jim Kirsch, brothers-in-law Herman Doll, Jerome Wolf, Wally
Wolf, Gilbert (Rosie) Wolf and her sister-in-law Rita Wolf .
Mass of Christian Burial for Carol will be held on Friday, Nov. 23,
2012, at 7 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Lawrence, with the
Rev. Joseph Dominic officiating.
Visitation will be on Friday, Nov. 23, from 3-7 p.m. at the church.
Interment will take place at St. Lawrence Cemetery on Saturday, Nov. 24.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, Cedar
Community, or Froedtert Hospital are appreciated The family would like
to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Froedtert Hospital,
and a very special thank you to Dr. Lauren Wiebe.
