John C. "Chuck" Thompson IV of Mequon entered into eternal life on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the age of 78.

He was the beloved husband for 52 years of Kay Thompson; loving father of Jack and Greg (DeDe) Thompson; and proud grandfather of Gavin, Eric, Reese, Stephanie and Kaylin. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Ozaukee Congregational Church, 1142 Lakefield Road, Grafton.



In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chuck’s name should be directed to Ozaukee Congregational Church.

Chuck was born in Cody, Wyo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
