Kathryn M. Lovering, 93
 

Kathryn M. Lovering, 93, of Lasata in Cedarburg, formerly of Milwaukee, died at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha on Sept. 28, 2012, after recent health complications.

She was born March 21, 1919, in Park Falls to Leon and Elizabeth Wolf Fletcher. She was married to Kenneth Lovering, who preceded her in death in 1980.

Kay graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing and was the head nurse of labor and delivery at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee until her retirement in 1980. Together with her husband, Ken, they owned and operated the A & W Restaurant on North 51st Street and West Villard Avenue in Milwaukee.

She is survived by her two sons, James of Cedarburg and Thomas (Margaret) of Germantown; four granddaughters, Jennifer (Kelley) Lalk, Kristin, Katie and Kari Lovering; three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Rylee and Conner; special friends Marge Schmidt and her family, Chris Kerwin and Lacy, Lt. Chad Kelly, USMC, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 8, at St. Francis Borgia Church,

1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg, from 10 a.m. until the Mass of the Christian Burial at noon with the Rev. Thomas Eichenberger officiating. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee.
