Theodore Lauren, 68


Theodore “Ted” Lauren, 68, of Kewaskum, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Froedtert Hospital. He was born on Nov. 16, 1943 in Hurley to the late Victor and Antoinette (nee Casanova).

He married his sweetheart, Sandra (nee Simon), on June 28, 1980. Some of his many talents included water skiing, baseball and doing ceramics. They retired to Arkansas in 1998 to extend Ted’s golfing season. They returned to Wisconsin in September where he enjoyed spending time with his family and companion, “Bear.” He will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his children, June Payne, Victoria (Terry) Pietschmann, Theodore (Debbie) Lauren, Barbara Lauren; grandchildren, Kenny and Nicky Payne, Kevin and Paul Diedrich, Desiree and Jesse Pietschmann, Heather (Joe) Tennies, Haley Lauren, Zach Minnow, Austin (Alexandra) Ross, Shantay Lauren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Lavern Przybysz, Ozella Moore, Maria Hunter, Glenn (Chris) Lauren; mother-in-law, Myrtle Kuehl; in-laws, Barbara Petermann, Patricia (Dennis) Kocher, Cheryl (Dan) Kerlin, Larry (Pam) Simon, Vicki (Kevin) Muzich; and dear friend, Mike Payne.

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, stepfather-in-law and a brother in-law.

The memorial service for Ted will be held on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at noon at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend) with the Rev. David Schoob presiding. The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at noon.
