Joel I. Frank, 72

Joel I. Frank, 72, of West Bend, formerly of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Cedar Community in West Bend. 

Joel was born in Thiensville on Jan. 4, 1940, to the late Paul A. & Anita (nee Dauffenbach) Frank and married Judy (nee Barelmann) on Nov. 3, 1962, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. 

Joel was a former board member of the Ozaukee County 4-H Leader Association Board and also a 4-H leader. He was a former longtime active member of First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg and recently a member of the Financial Committee of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in West Bend. 

He is survived by his wife Judy of West Bend; children, Paul (Rhonda) of Eau Claire and Timothy (Nell) of Cedarburg; grandchildren, Joel E. and Paul M. Frank of Eau Claire; brother, Robert (Jean) Frank of Cedarburg; and sister, Carol (Robert) Melk of Plainfield. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 462 Meadowbrook Drive, West Bend. Interment will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 3-4:45 p.m.
