Mark A. Moericke (Skinny), 49, of Pearson, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Langlade Hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1963 in West Bend to Roland and Kaye (Thompson ) Moericke.
He was raised in West Bend. He volunteered in the Civil Air Patrol in his teens, where he attained the rank of lieutenant colonel. He also had many jobs before becoming an over-the-road truck driver. This he enjoyed doing for more than 20 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Mark is survived by two daughters, Nicole Budzinski of Jackson and Christa Moericke of Newburg; two step-daughters, Nancy (Cory) McCorkle of Merrill and Lisa (David) Kritz of Lincoln, Calif.; six grandchildren, Hailee, Sean, Emily, Caleb, Conner and Dawson; his father, Roland of West Bend; his mother, Kaye of Green Bay; a sister, Beth (Dale) Moser; three brothers, Rod (Amy) Moericke of West Bend, Christopher (Kristina) Moericke of Wautoma, Randy (Michelle) Moericke of West Bend; three half-brothers, Dennis (Bonita) of Schiocton, Russ (Nancy) Moericke of Appleton, Victor Cabot of Texas; a half-sister Susanna Belongia of North Carolina; “adopted” brother Jason Waier of Theresa; many nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins; ex-wife Dawn (Anderson) Moericke; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother Babbette (Bobbie) Erickson-Moericke.
