Robert ‘Buck’ Berger
Robert "Buck" Berger Sr. of Grafton entered eternal life on Oct. 21, 2012, at the age of 93.
He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Doris (nee Blauert) of 64 years; beloved son, James; and sister, Katie Kloster.
He is survived by sons, Thomas (Sharon), and Robert Jr.; and daughter- in-law, Sue; loving grandchildren, Joseph, Debra (Kyle) Newman, Bethany, Andrew and Robert III; adoring great-grandchildren, Natalie and Nadia Newman, and Emma Berger; and sister, Emma Krueger; nephews and niece; plus a host of many loving and caring friends.
Buck was born in Vienna, Austria, coming to America as a small boy.
He proudly served in the U.S. Cavalry. He also founded Berger’s Car Care Service in Milwaukee.
In his younger years, Buck was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and motorcycle enthusiast, riding his Harley well into his 80s. His love of flying led him to refurbishing Steerman airplanes.
Buck was a very talented man with so many interests. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
