Patricia
A. “Patsy” Schulz (nee Giese), age 73, of the town of Wayne, passed away
Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, West Bend, surrounded
by her loving family.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1938, in the town of Addison to the late
Clarence and Elvera (nee Beck) Giese. At a young age, her family moved
to a farm in the town of Theresa and the family attended Zion Lutheran
Church in Theresa. Patsy graduated from Mayville High School in the
class of 1957.
On April 12, 1958, Patsy was united in marriage to Allen Schulz at Zion
Lutheran Church. Together they made their home and raised their family
on a farm in the town of Wayne.
Patsy was a dedicated and active member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran
Church in the town of Wayne, and a member of the church Ladies Aid. She
was a member of the Kewaskum Snow Chiefs and Kohlsville Kruisers. Patsy
enjoyed cooking, canning, crocheting, candle making, snowmobiling,
caring for her flowers, and, most importantly, caring for and sharing
with her grandchildren that she loved so much.
She is survived by her loving husband, Allen; five children, DuWayne
(Joyce) Schulz of St. Kilian, LeRoy Schulz of Kewaskum, Barbara (Henry)
Kluever of West Bend, Darwin (Kim) Schulz of Kohlsville, and Beverly
(Larry) Vander Velden of Kaukauna; 11 g grandchildren, Jennifer (Blake)
Talbot, Jaclyn (Matthew ) Gellings, Rebecca (Fiancé Paul Nedden) Baron,
Matthew Kluever, Elizabeth Kluever, Emily Kluever, Aaron (Alissa)
Schulz, Corey Schulz, Danielle Schulz, Jordan Vander Velden, and Paige
Vander Velden; a greatgrandson, Porter Talbot; two sisters, Jerilynn (Delmer)
Scherger of Hartford and Sandra (Norm) Preder of Random Lake; a
sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Schulz of Kohlsville; a brother-in-law, Gerald
(Elaine) Schulz of Kohlsville; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Rudy and
Vinelda Schulz; and a brother-in-law, Donald Schulz.
A celebration of thanksgiving to God for Patsy’s life will be held on
Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 6 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, town of Wayne, 6438
Highway D. The Rev. Steven Bode will officiate and burial will follow in
Zion Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 2
p.m. until the time of service.
Memorials to the Zion Christian Education Fund are appreciated by the
family.
