Laura M. Oswald, 92


Laura M. Oswald (nee Kohl), 92, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012. She was born on March 10, 1920, to the late Albert and Elsie (nee Baumgartner) Kohl.

She enjoyed playing cards and taking trips on the casino bus. She especially loved cooking.
She is survived by her children, Harold (Phyllis), Elaine, Carol (Harold) Murphy, Sharon (Jerry) Remillard, Dean (Jeany), Terry (Jeff) Hamilton; daughter-in-law, Sally; 12 grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; many great; and step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Ruth Ceshker; and sister-in-law, Bernice Kohl. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; son, Dennis; siblings, Eleanor, Gene, Al, and Clarence; and daughter-in-law, Marlene.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at 7 p.m. at St. Gabriel Parish (1200 St. Gabriel Way, Hubertus, WI 53033) with the Rev. Chuck Hanel presiding.

The visitation will be at the church on Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 4-6:45 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Richfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gabriel Parish or The Kathy Hospice (3232 Pleasant Valley Road, West Bend, WI 53095).
