Judith K. DeMars, 72


Judith K. De-Mars, 72, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.

Judith was born on May 24, 1940 in Manistique, Mich. to Wesley and Eleanore (nee Fox) Parrish. On Aug. 18, 1962, she married James DeMars in Cooks, Mich., and would later give birth to her four beautiful children.

Judy is survived by her loving spouse of 50 years, James; children, Cheryl Dorzok, Tammy Parrish, Jimmy (Tammy) DeMars, and Rodney DeMars; grandchildren, Chris Parrish, Rachel Wiedmeyer, and AJ Breger; and great-grandchildren, Dustin Parrish, Daisy Parrish, and Brenden Muchka. She is further survived by her siblings, Robert (Sheila) Parrish, Patty (Joe) Joseph, Tom (Jeannie) Parrish, Vicki (Richard) Fox, Peggy Mercier, Rick Parrish, Mary LaVigne, Kathy (Blake) Smith, Priscilla (Paul) Brenner, Randy (Glenda) Parrish, Wanda (David) Rodgers, and Polly (Paul) Nedeau.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Earl Parrish and Michael Parrish.
A celebration of Judy’s life will take place on Sept. 29, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Inwood Township Hall in Cooks, Mich. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
