Frank M. Grasso
Frank M. Grasso, 82, passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System—Eau Claire. He was born on April 27, 1930, in Milwaukee to the late Frank and Maria (nee Puleo) Grasso.
Frank graduated from Lincoln High School in Milwaukee in 1949, and then served our country in Japan during the Korean War as a tank instructor. He married Marilyn, his high school sweetheart. Frank worked hard to give his family a better life. Frank was an avid fisherman and he was happiest when he was on the lake. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him and his faithful companion, Bella.
He is survived by his children, John (Glenda Boyd) Grasso of West Bend, Mary Ellen (Steve) Grasso-Klein of Blue Diamond, Nev., Brian (Kelly) Grasso of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Katie (Dominic Matera) Grasso, Melissa (Tommy Roach) and Matthew Grasso, Brooks and Connor Klein; great-grandchildren, Ranae, Isaiah, Amber, and Noah; brother, Nicholas (Teresa) Grasso; and sister-in-law, Maria Grasso. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn; and brother, Rosario Grasso.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 30, from 3-5 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095) with the funeral service at 5 p.m.
Interment of cremains will be held at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
