Genevieve R. Jambura, 84, of Hartford, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. She was born Feb. 12, 1928, in Madison, the daughter of Anthony and Ann (nee Guisti) Savone. Genevieve married Robert Jambura in Madison in September 1951. They moved to Hartford in 1960 and started “The Paint Shop and Toyland,” which they owned and operated until 1992. Ginny worked in the store with her husband, but mostly devoted her life to raising their children. She loved to garden and enjoyed the outdoors and camping. Ginny enjoyed watercolor painting as a hobby.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1995, her sisters Delores and Charlotte, and her son-inlaw Edmund Milner.
Genevieve is survived by her children Mark (Theresa) Jambura of Slinger, Sue Milner of Hartford, Jane (Sid Wallace) Beine of Milwaukee, Lisa (Dan) Retzlaff of Hartford, her grandchildren Aaron (Amy) Jambura of West Bend, Brad Jambura of Jackson, Jeff (Tiffany) Hader of Hartford, Amy (Glen) Hageman of Janesville, Eric (Mali) Beine of Janesville, Derrike Retzlaff of Hartford and Alexandra Retzlaff of Hartford, her great-grandchildren Cadence, Paige, Jaxon, Colin and Eli, and her sister Doris Wallsch of Madison. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
