Beatrice A. Dahm,
Beatrice “Beady” A. Dahm (nee Biertzer), 80, passed away on Wednesday,
June 12, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk. She was
born on March 23, 1933, to the late Peter and Ida (nee Meyer) Biertzer.
She married Norman “Buck” Dahm on Jan. 26, 1952, in Waukegan, Ill.
The majority of her working years, she was employed as an assembler and
finisher at Amity Leather, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed camping,
crocheting, and going to casinos, especially playing blackjack. She
loved spending time with her family at her home up north.
She is survived by her loving children, Phyllis (David) Dietenberger,
Jerome (Anna), Pauline (Kelvin) Schoebel, Debora (Nicholas) Marx, Brian
(Theresa), Brenda (David) Wagner; cherished grandchildren, Bradley
(Becky) Dietenberger, Amy Jo Dietenberger, Jamie (Missi) Dahm, Jeremy (Jacki)
Dahm, Jon (special friend, Cindy) Marx, Amanda (fiancée Kevin Kranz)
Marx, Katelyn and Nicole Wagner; great-grandchildren, Nate, Kiersten,
Victoria, David, and Leah; and siblings, Donald (Bernie) Biertzer, James
(Mary) Biertzer, and JoAnn Lentz. She is further survived by
sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman “Buck” Dahm; infant
great-grandson, Ethan; siblings, Miland (Maryann) Biertzer and Goldie
The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 7 p.m.
at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend).
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at the funeral home from
4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials
would be appreciated to the family.
