Anna A. Krell, 100

Anna A. Krell, nee Vondrachek of West Bend died on Friday, June 28, 2013, at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 100 years. She was born on July 4, 1912 in Denton, Mont., to the late Charles and Caroline (nee Safronek) Vondrachek. As a child, the family moved to various places, and settled in Wisconsin when she was a teenager.

On July 9, 1932, she was united in marriage to George J. Krell at St. Rose of Lima Church in Fredonia. The family lived in the Farmington area.

For 35 years, she was employed at Amity Leather Products Company, working as a sewer.

She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She also loved baking, especially homemade bread.

She was a member of the 25 Year Club at Amity.

After her husband became a resident at the Samaritan Health Center, she began volunteering there. She continued her volunteer work following her husbandís death on April 24, 1989.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen (Henry) Dahlinger of West Bend, Patricia (Robert) Chapman of Cascade and Rita (Americo) Korompai of Austin, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Krell of West Bend; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great- grandchildren; one sister, Adele Buttke of Janesville; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret (John) Bowe and one son, Eugene, one sister, Mary Becker, and three brothers, Norbert, Edward and Bernard Vondrachek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 1 at 11 a.m. at St. Maryís Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial following in St. Peterís Cemetery in the town of Farmington. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church only on Monday from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
