Shirley E. Stoffel, 93

Shirley E. Stoffel (nee Schneider), 93, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

She was born on Jan. 22, 1920, to Bernard and Cora (nee Duncan) Schneider in the town of Farmington. She moved to West Bend in 1945 and was employed at Enger Kress. She married Raymond Stoffel on June 28, 1947. She was a member of Holy Angels Mission Circle, past vice president and president of Washington County Historical Society; member of Kettle Moraine Coin and Stamp Club; and was an avid quilter.

Shirley is survived by her son, Wayne (Fran); grandchildren Stacy (Roger Bracken) Scottsdale, Ariz.; Shelly Hertel (Adam) West Bend; Jr (West Bend); and Jennifer (Jon Spaar) West Bend. Great-grandchildren, Mya and Kaylee Spaar; Emma and Laila Hertel; and Liam Stoffel. Nieces, Jamie Schwants and Linda Espita. Sister-in-laws Pat Stoffel and Lucille Steger, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond; son, Paul; brothers, Albert and Cecil; and nephew and foster son, Joseph Schneider.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 12, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Holy Angels Church (138 N. Eighth Ave., West Bend) with the Rev. Jerry Brittain presiding. Visitation will be held at Holy Angels on Friday, July 12 from 4-6:45 p.m. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park on Saturday, July 13 at 9:30 a.m.
