Genevieve was an active member of Spring Creek Church (formerly Garfield
Baptist) where she made many lifelong friendships. Her faith was very
important to her and she enjoyed sharing that faith with everyone around
her. It was her love of the Lord that led her to be the spiritual leader
of her family. It also led to her greatest desire in life that her
family would become followers of Jesus Christ.
Genevieve had an amazing strength that came from the Lord. She had an
infectious spirit that everyone wanted to be around. She loved her
independence, she loved to ride her bike and she loved a good bargain.
Her life was full of color. She loved spending time with her family and
friends every chance she could. She will be remembered by her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren for her silly songs she would sing
them and for the silly stories she enjoyed telling them, especially the
ones about her mischievous doll Lucinda. Genevieve is the beloved mother

West Bend; the proud grandmother of Aaron (Sara) Kureck, Benjamin
